Apply Now for Whole Health Consortium Seed Grants!

The Whole Health Consortium at Virginia Tech, ISCE's newest program, aims to support people and their communities to pursue meaningful lives through transdisciplinary solution-oriented research in equitable health and well-being.

The Consortium endeavors to expand the health research paradigm. As stated in the charter, its mission is to harness a range of expertise to revolutionize systems, research, practices, and policies that affect holistic health and well-being.

Mental Health has been chosen as this year’s priority research area.  This focus encompasses a broad spectrum, from emotional well-being and resilience to tackling mental health challenges and conditions.

Given the multidimensional facets of mental health, addressing it from a holistic perspective requires a focused and synergistic effort from research teams.  To support team efforts, the Consortium is excited to introduce its inaugural Seed Grant program, with grants ranging from $10,000 to $45,000. These grants will support interdisciplinary teams tackling complex challenges in mental health. There are two tracks: Track 1: Advancing Partnerships; and Track 2: Incubating Emergent Collaborations.
