Funding Opportunities

To improve faculty success in seeking external funding, ISCE provides seed funding and other financial support to assist in the development of individual faculty members and promote participation on interdisciplinary teams for Virginia Tech researchers conducting new and ongoing social science research.

ISCE supports faculty research through a number of programs, including its signature ISCE Scholars Program and the ISCE Social Science PREP Program, as well as through special initiatives, often in collaboration with other Virginia Tech institutes or partners. ISCE supports unsolicited requests from faculty on a rolling basis and provides limited sponsorship for social science-related conferences and events.
