Proposal Development

To improve faculty success in seeking external funding, ISCE provides extensive technical assistance to support individual faculty members and interdisciplinary teams developing research proposals.

Types of assistance offered ranges from:

• Identifying funding opportunities or research collaborators
• Developing conceptual ideas
• Reviewing or proofreading proposals and supporting documents
• Developing budgets and budget justifications
• Coordinating proposal development team meetings
• Interfacing with the Virginia Tech Office of Sponsored Programs/Internal submission process (Summit) or with external funding agency submission portals
