This immersive experience, facilitated by Brain Injury Solutions and Carilion Clinic, allows students to meet people with brain injuries and engage with the framework of support they require in their daily lives. Gurari and Radford University Assistant Professor, Kevin Parcetich, co-teach this experiential learning course with support from an Institute for Society, Culture, and Environment grant.

The song was written about her brother Ryan, who passed away from cancer, and the recording took place on what would have been his 40th birthday.
